A poem about last night.

First step would’ve been not to stay away too long
Now you’re rusty and the whole night comes as a shock
Yes, you can still run into failed talking stages, yes, you’ll have awkward conversations with people you last saw in high school
Yes, people that aren’t ‘supposed to be’ flirting still flirt
You know not to interfere,
It’s a canon event.
Pop the corn and wait
For when it all goes up in the air.
Spot your ultimate crush in the crowd
And please,
by all means,
avoid him!
If everything goes according to plan,
You’re not supposed to meet for another few years.
That boy’s following you around,
Don’t be a baby
It’s a part of the experience
Now you know for sure the next time you’ll be ready for anything of that kind again
Will be in January
Don’t forget to dance.
Yes you’ll do a few things that will haunt you for the next few months,
But at least
It’ll make for great content some day.
