What does a girl like you want from a place like this?

I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve tried to write this post(there’s drafts dating back years titled Feminism for Dummies and Your mum! 101). I’ll try not to fuck this up.

Apparently, women have been struggling to accept the reality of the world they’re  supposed to thrive in. Admittedly, I too had hard time at first, but then, I figured it out. Forgive me for womansplaining, but I promise these tips will help;

1. Have you ever been allocated a task, and are tempted to give 100%? Don’t. I promise you everyone will be happy with you just showing up. Fight the urge to be the best.

2. In the event that you’re ever faced with a dilemma, especially a moral one, the answer is always, ‘But what if the roles were reversed?’ Is it a case of sexual assault? No, but what if the roles were reversed?!?

3. If your male counterpart ever expresses himself passionately, it’s most probably the testosterone. Be sure to mention it to him.

4. Also, no one but you knows what they’re talking about. Yes, they may be an expert in their field, but they’re also a man. Help them.

5. What are boundaries? A myth! You like how his butt looks? Tell him. Oh, you’re his boss? Tell him anyway. (Feel free to call him sweetheart. He’ll love it.)

6. Most importantly, men only register as human beings after, and I repeat AFTER you have a son. Don’t forget to make an elaborate Instagram post describing the eureka! moment.
